This mural was done fueled by a local church, Crossroads, and their annual Go Local event. Me and a group of 10 strangers came together and volunteered for 12 hours in May of 2019 to bring some color and fun to the playground of a local elementary school! One major sunburn and many Gatorades later… we had a completed free-handed mural of the globe. I also got to free-hand paint a flying pig on Cincinnati and a salted pretzel on Germany; a nod to the school and city’s german heritage and appreciation!
